Of the five realtors I interviewed, I chose Calvin La as my seller's agent for several key reasons: communication, diligence, ethics, and professionalism. He communicated thoroughly, listening to my needs and concerns, and taking time to sit with me for two hours to ask questions and explain the selling process.He did the most thorough analysis of comparable properties and in fact, arrived at the highest offering price of three quoted. He advised me on staging of the property for sale based on the size of the house . He asked me upfront if there were any problems to disclose, and it impressed me that while he solely represented me, he maintained honesty to both parties in the transaction. In addition to the use of several marketing channels, Calvin walked to 60 homes in my neighborhood, distributing pamphlets and telling my neighbors that my house was for sale. The result was that there was a well-attended open house with several offers. Calvin then negotiated with a prospective buyer and arrived at an acceptable offering price. He attended all showings and the inspection, and updated me on results. In a down market, my house was sold at a satisfactory price within a short period of time. Last but not least, he is polite, pleasant, and confident. I would recommend Calvin to anyone looking to sell their home.

Before hiring Calvin as our realtor, we tried to list the property as for sale by owner and had a number of realtors contacted us to request that we used their real estate services. After a few attempts without any luck of selling our home, we interviewed a few realtors, including Calvin and found the distinctions between Calvin and other realtors is that he put our best interests first; he has a niche working with a group of diverse clients; he is personal; strong in people and communication skills; open minded; local knowledge of the real estate market; work ethic; honesty; and ethical. That being said, other realtors are good, but Calvin stands out from the group of potential realtors that we had interviewed.
